In light of the encouraging message we heard from our president we are hopeful to be able to attend church soon. The board is researching how to implement the CDC guidelines. Please continue to pray for our country and leadership.
There is a live streamed service tonight at 7:00 pm. Brother Paul Matson will be speaking. Please join us in commemorating this important day in the life of Jesus.
Dear Hockinson ALC members, God’s Peace,
As was mentioned in the church announcements last Sunday, we will be voting on our Spring Meeting agenda items online this month. We are requesting that all dues paying members who are wishing to vote, send your email address to email@example.com so that we can send you the Spring Meeting voting survey. The survey is mostly multiple choice and easy to do. We would like to ask all those dues paying members who are interested in voting, to submit their email address to the Secretary no later than Wednesday May 27th, 2020. Please put Spring Meeting in the subject line. There is one ballot per email address so please send addresses for each dues paying member of your household.
On behalf of the Hockinson ALC Board,
Pastor Andy Johnson from Clatskanie will be serving us for our online Easter Services. Service times are as follows, Maundy Thursday at 7:00 PM, Good Friday at 7:00 PM, Easter Sunday at 10:30 AM.

For the good of our members and visitors the HALC is suggesting the following safety measures, in order to do our part to help control the preventable spread of illness.
- Members should stay home if they are feeling any symptoms of illness.
- Members are encouraged to stay home and watch the service online if they are uncomfortable attending.
- We recommend avoiding handshakes when greeting.
- The church does take measures during the regularly scheduled cleaning by wiping down frequently touched surfaces.
- It is especially important that all attendees wash hands frequently and use good hygiene practices.
- Regularly scheduled meals have been canceled until further notice.
We will continue to monitor the situation.
